Two day workshop, PM and SCM in Dubrovnik

02/10/2025

Regional Agency DUNEA hosted a two-day COASTRUST project workshop on September 30 and October 1, 2025, in Dubrovnik. The event brought together project partners, associated partners, and external experts to exchange experiences, share progress, and jointly discuss strategies for sustainable coastal stewardship.

During the first day, partners delivered presentations on their pilot areas, focusing on the objectives they set, how they plan to achieve them, and the concrete actions already undertaken or planned within their action plans and strategies. The program also included an interactive discussion, where project partners addressed questions from associated partners and experts, clarifying open issues and guiding the next steps in the COASTRUST process.

Majority of the second day of the workshop was dedicated to  project coordination. A Project Coordination Meeting was held for project partners to align on upcoming tasks, reporting, and deliverables, followed by a Steering Committee Meeting where strategic decisions, administrative updates, and dissemination activities were discussed. Partners also heard updates from RWG as Lead Partner, DUNEA as communication managers and from Work Package leaders regarding pending activities and challenges.

Beyond the working sessions, participants had the opportunity to experience Dubrovnik’s cultural and historical heritage through a guided tour of the Old Town, further strengthening cooperation and networking within the partnership.

The COASTRUST project aims to foster sustainable and responsible management of coastal areas by developing innovative models, engaging local communities, and sharing best practices among partners.

DUNEA thanks all participants for their active involvement and looks forward to continuing the fruitful collaboration in the next stages of the project.
